Below this is a table with the basic features in. This was written by me as a check list for when I could consider the alpha version finished. It could only be when everything on the list was at 100%, which was achieved a while ago. The purpose of this beta is to add some colour, make the pages easier to navigate and to introduce some new 'general' features. For instance, I've just recently completed a way to both show how many players are online and to log them off after 30 minutes of inactivity. When messaging or battling someone you can also see if they are online, away or offline. In the case of battling, you can see if they are in jail/hospital which auto-disallows them from battle.

It now logs how many times people have signed in & when their last time was, shows the current server time on each page and automatically adds places you find when exploring to the city. On the flip side to this though, if you try to access an area you haven't discovered yet, it won't allow you.

There is still a lot of work involved before it can be considered close to a proper release, for instance, the majority of the screens were designed using relative percentages on a 22" monitor. The main game screen is now a fixed size and a lot of the screens don't look ... right thanks to that. Now, with those new features in mind, my plan is to go back to each page and look at / amend the layout as needed.

What you can do at the moment (still mainly alpha code)
  • Sell goods from backpack to merchant
  • Sell goods from house to merchant
Buy goods from merchant. Right now none of the items are useful for anything.
Training skills - although they can be trained, only a couple of them have been implemented so far.
  • Commit crimes 1 skillpoint
  • Commit crimes 2 skillpoints
  • Commit crimes 3 skillpoints
  • Commit crimes 4 skillpoints
Jail - This is very basic at the moment, every time in jail is 10 minutes with no variation. You also can't do anything while in jail.

Exploring a city. Right now this works as intended but needs lots of improvement

Sell cans/bottles to the recycler. This ties in with the very basics of a stock market too.
Crimeskill / energy / tiredness auto update
Create a character
Game resets, it clears all tiredness and sets energy and crime skill to the maximum. It resets your health but doesn't remove any injuries you have.

Go to the gym. Two different gym's are in, 1 proper gym for strength, stamina and speed, a second gym for intelligence, accuracy and dexterity. The second gym is effectively a copy of the first so needs major improvements.

View inventory / move goods between bag and home

Stock market - it's only set up for scrap metal and glass to view, can't buy or sell shares or do anything else.

Messaging other players. You can send, reply or delete messages. No way at the moment to see your sent messages.
Battle. Just the basics so far, doesn't take in to account any skills or equipment.
